Alongside with drugs taking and alcohol drinking the gaming addiction has grown into an issue lots of psychologists and simply indifferent people warn about. Millions of users around the globe get sucked in by their computers/laptops to just play some sort of game, throwing heaps of money on virtual content. It so happened, that mobile gaming addiction has even acquired a separate status with the wide popularity of mobile devices and a large variety of software applications. Today you may see an innumerable number of people around you, sitting and constantly looking into their small screens...

What do the figures say?
According to numbers, back in 2012, there were nearly 8 billion mobile games issued (7.8 billion to be exact), which, surely, couldn’t pass unnoticed, offering the whole 8 billion reasons for the addicted to stay “in game”. This year the figures reached the impressive 13 billion thus, enlarging the content volume significantly. The first candidates to suffer from such an unrestrained ‘evolutionary jump’ will be the adolescent, of course. The statistics show that their not-quite-formed consciousness is forced to influence more easily than that of a grown-up.
A constant outer watch is required
Considering the matter of teenagers’ mobile addiction, one should say that the problem demands a strict and immediate solution. Eventually, children cannot fight the issue on their own. In fact, they don’t even try to, as games become their only matter of existence. Sounds scary, doesn’t it? To keep your child away from troubles connected with addiction always stay in close touch with your son/daughter, see if he/she spends too much time sitting with the phone. If so, try finding any other activity or occupation, anything that could distract your children from the brain-killing hobbies.
What needs to be done?
No need to deny the fact that modern society dictates the rules. Mobile phones have become an integral part of a day-to-day life. But if one digs deeper, some people use them for just communication, while others – as a ‘virtual friend’. For the latter their parents or friends should explain – they got trapped.
